This webinar is based on a workshop that was presented at the 2016 Aging in America Conference.

This web seminar is based on the 2016 Aging in America Conference (AIA) workshop “End-of-Life Planning: Issues and Impact.”

This web seminar will provide participants with an understanding of why it is important for every adult to have a plan that can be executed in the event of their demise, whether sudden or resulting from a prolonged, perhaps chronic illness. Ideally, every ASA member should be an advocate of end-of-life planning. Every web seminar participant will not only gain an in-depth understanding of this issue, but also will be moved to action for themselves and in their personal network to develop end-of-life plans.

Participants in this web seminar will be able to:

  • List what tools are included in an effective end-of-life plan;
  • Describe the critical nature of end-of-life planning;
  • Understand how to have the conversation with one’s personal and extended network; and,
  • Become ASA advocates for end-of-life planning.
